Legendary soprano Victoria de los Angeles in arguably her finest performance as the Countess, in a 1964 performance of Le Nozze di Figaro from the Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires. The opera is led by István Kertész one of the most highly regarded Mozart conductors of his era. The cast also features the magnificent Christa Ludwig as Cherubino and Walter Berry as Figaro, singers who were world-renowned for their interpretations of those roles. Susanna is portrayed by the soprano Renate Holm, and the Count is interpreted with authority and nuance by Renato Cesari, an Argentine baritone who enjoyed a distinguished career centered in Buenos Aires. Three-disc set includes bonus tracks featuring Victoria de los Angeles in arias from Le Nozze di Figaro, Ernani, La Bohème, Mefistofele, Manon, and La Vida Breve.
