A deux voix, ou chacun seul avec le piano d’Helmut Deutsch, Diana Damrau et Jonas Kaufmann se retrouvent, non pas chez Wolf comme hier, mais pour un voyage contrasté dans les univers de Schumann et de Brahms. "Chansons d’amour" promet le programme. A deux, le spectacle est savoureux, ils y mettent chacun leur théâtre et les voir importe autant que de les entendre : "Von ewiger Liebe" (Brahms) où "Unter Fernstern" (Schumann) sont plus que savoureux. Seuls ils surprennent souvent : Diana Damrau suspend le "Noyer" de Schumann dans l’étoffe élargi de son timbre, Jonas Kaufmann ne craint plus d’être parfois ce baryton que cache sa tessiture de ténor, affaire de coloration plus que de placement de la voix, chez Brahms "Meerfahrt" ou "Sehnsucht" le disent assez.
