Piotr Grinholc. Born to a family with rich musical traditions. He began learning the piano at age of five. In 1986 he graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Public Music High School in Warsaw and received a diploma from professor Marietta Kruzel-Sosnowska’s organs class. During his time in High School he was also learning the basics of composing with Romuald Twardowski – one of the most renowned Polish composers. He studied counterpoint at the Warsaw Academy of Music with Tadeusz Maklakiewicz, and improvisation with Marian Sawa, an outstanding composer of organ music. In 1992 he graduated Warsaw Music Academy, from professor Andrzej Chorosinski’s organs class. He has performed as a soloist and accompanist in in most of the European countries and in Canada. He is also a composer and composed music for documentary movies and engages in the production technology of music recordings. He is a valued specialist in terms of recording classic, chamber, organs, choir and symphonic music. He has recorded numerous albums for many Polish artists, as well as choirs and other ensembles.
