A double CD of rarities of the repertoire of the XX Century in the rare stereo interpretations by Leopold Stokowski of the late '50s for Capitol Americana and Philips. They are all documents not available on the market for decades and they have preserved an extraordinary sound quality, at the level of the expetations of the public of nowadays. The box testifies the eclecticism of this conductor, who was certainly not only the Maestro of Fantasia by Diseny, but he was one of the more experimental performers (with Mitropoulos and Scherchen) of a music that in the middle of the XX Century appeared difficult and hard to sell. It is remarkable that this box contains, among the others, the recording of the Gliere's Third Symphony that has almost no discography.
