La figlia del reggimento, in the italian version of Callisto Bassi, has not numerous discographic edition (except that by Nuova Era del 1990). This version, back of 30 years, is of high interest for two reasons: the extraordinary RAI Recording (it is comparable to a studio recording) and the presence of two singers: Anna Moffo at the beginning of her carreer (she come to record Falstaff with Karajan) and Franco Mannino, the great musician that also recorded the sound tracks of Luchino VIsconti's movies. Then again we added an extra bonus (about 40 minutes) with the rare recordings of Anna Moffo releazed by Walter Legge's Columbia.
