 The parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Krasnik was erected on 4 July 1998 by Archbishop Józef Zycinski. It belongs to the Archdiocese of Lublin and to the Decanate of Krasnik. The parish chapel was erected between 1998 and 1999, while the construction of the church took place between 2008 and 2016. on 15 September 2016. Archbishop Stanislaw Budzik performed the solemn consecration of the temple. The first parish priest and builder was Rev. Canon Wieslaw Rosinski, who retired in June 2020. In August 2020, Fr Hubert Czarnecki became the new parish priest. The organ of the church of Our Lady of Sorrows in Krasnik were brought from the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Boxtel, the Netherlands. The instrument was built in 1938 and then expanded in 1955 by Verschueren Orgelbouw. In the years 2021–2022, a general renovation and reconstruction of the organ were carried out in order to adapt it to the conditions of the temple. This task was undertaken by the Church Organ Repair Facility S.C. A. Madej, B. Lewanowicz-Madej. Two pedal voices have also been added: Posaune 16’ and Trompet 8’. The instrument currently has 31 voices. It consists of three manuals and a pedal. It also has combinations, collective registers, one free combination and crescendo.
