Katarzyna Dondalska, the Polish born coloratura soprano completed her studies in both singing and the violin at the State Academy of Music in Würzburg with distinction and ‘Meisterklasse’ diploma. She was a finalist in several well known international Singing Competitions and holds numerous prizes. In 2011 the Gdansk Music Academy awarded her the Doctorate Degree. Her most celebrated roles include Mozart’s Queen of the Night and Constanza, Richard Strauss’s Zerbinetta, Stravinsky’s and Braunfels’ Nightingale and Rossini’s Rosina, which she has successfully performed in opera houses such as: Grand Opera Houston, Welsh National Opera Cardiff, the Korean National Opera Seoul, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Teatr Wielki in Warsaw and many others.
