The Swiss Radar Suzuki quartet consists of the musicians Dario Sisera on drums, Luca Sisera on bass, Franz Hellmüller on guitar and Carles Peris on saxophone and flute. The Sisera brothers from Chur, Switzerland, have been playing together in several formations ever since their youth. It was Dario Sisera's graduation concert for the performance diploma at the Musikhochschule Luzern in June 2007 that led to the foundation of Radar Suzuki. Franz Hellmüller from Lucerne performs together with Luca Sisera in the Hellmüller-Sisera-Renold group and, together with Dario Sisera, he is responsible for the compositions of the quartet. Carles Peris from Barcelona, with his long-time stage experience, complements the group as a multi-instrumentalist. Sometimes Radar Suzuki sound laid-back and melodious, sometimes eccentric and experimental, their filigree sound is nonetheless energetic. The musicians are like walking a tightrope in a playful and highly precise way between improvisation and sophisticated arrangements. The listeners must have a proved sense of direction; however, they will also be rewarded with unusual perspectives - over and over again.
