The Polish Organ Duo was established in 1997 by Karol Golebiowski and Vincent de Pol, both classed with the elite of the European organ virtuosi and distinguished by a remarkable soloistic career as concert organist. Karol Golebiowski studied at the Warsaw Conservatoire (under Prof. Joachim Grubich), then at the Geneva Conservatoire (under Prof. Lionel Rogg), and finally at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels (under Prof. Herman Verschraegen). Vincent de Pol studied at the Warsaw Academy of Music (under Prof. Andrzej Chorosinski), subsequently at the Hamburg Highschool of Music and Theater (under Prof. Ernst-Ulrich von Kameke), and later at the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, USA (under Prof. Marilyn Kaiser). Prizes, won at sundry organ competitions, participation in renowned international organ festivals, countless Radio-, Television-, and CD recordings at five continents, guest professorship and master classes at various universities throughout the world, all that impressively illustrates the exceptional skills of both the artists. The Polish Organ Duo has given concerts already in in many European countries. The performances met with enthusiastic approval by the audience and were showered with praise by the critics. The repertoire contains compositions written in the original for organ duo, as well as the transcriptions of instrumental music dating from the Renaissance till today. Some contemporary composers also dedicated their works to the Polish Organ Duo.
