Viola Hammer (p) is a modern Austrian jazz pianist / composer in her own well-deserved right following in the footsteps of contemporary artists such as Aaron Parks, Brad Mehldau and Robert Glasper. She mixes her European roots with rhythmical complexity and a dry American trio sound.
