Trio Heinz Herbert, to my ear, makes an intelligent engaging music, thoughtfully orchestrated, rich in color and often surprising in its approach and content. Their sometimes minimalistic approach, which I hear as an "ensemble' music, is always incisive and filled with colorful detail.
