5-Part Suite for Jazz Orchester In 2014, the suite state of mind for jazz orchester was created. It is, in its scope and versatility, the result of Tobias Wemberslong-time experience in writing contemporary music. Wember´s compositions occur in special moments, through which thisvaried and comprehensive suite, based on everyday emotions and situations was shaped. Soft, melancholy sequences arereplaced by pulsating, advancing music. Contemplative melodies encounter powerful, structured and richly colouredpassages. In 2015, Tobias Wember was awarded the WDR jazz prize for composition and produced the CD state of mind in the GermanDeutschlandfunk studios with the Subway Jazz Orchestra.
