For almost 5 years, Andreas Schaerer (vocals) and Bänz Oester (bass) have been engaged in a musical dialogue. In 2010 they released their first CD, entitled Schibboleth. They have tackled countless concerts together since then, refining their creative exchanges and their common language.Always performing without safety net or harness, the musical soundscapes are woven anew at each concert, completely foregoing any prefabricated patterns. While, to a large extent, the tracks on the first CD consist of improvised miniatures, on the current CD the listener will find broader musical arcs.The recordings of Rarest Reechoes originated in a single evening, during a concert at the jazz club Stockwerk in Graz, Austria.
