"Painting Jazz" which was recorded in 2006, began as a conceptual duo collaboration between two colleagues and friends, Sandy Patton and Thomas Dürst in Bern, Switzerland.Patton and Dürst have performed together for almost 20 years in different formations from duo, quartet to symphony orchestra.
