An orchestral sound, being composed upon minimalistic melody-structures and polyphone conjunctions. - Michael Stürm _ JazzThing (rated Pin Addix' album Point Zero to the TOP 10 of the year 2013). The six-piece ensemble Pin Addix, founded by Berlin based composer Sebastian Piskorz in 2010, builds up it's very own combination of chamber music and jazz. The orchestral sound, being led by the intimate and soft wind section, constructs the scenery and leads to the remembrance of the musical worlds of Jaga Jazzist, Tortoise and Bon Iver. In September 2015, Pin Addix will release their second album The Chamber Momentum at Unit Records, where the debut album Point Zero was released in 2013. The ensemble's musicians collaborated with diverse artists, such as the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble, the Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg, Frank Gratkowski, the WDR Bigband, Sebastian Studnitzky, Kurt Rosenwinkel, John Schröder and Keimzeit.
