PEDRA PRETA - THREE EXCEPTIONAL MUSICIANS CELEBRATING THEIR OWN VERSION OF THE AFRO-BRAZILIAN TRADITION. It all began in the alternative scene of Salvador da Bahia, Brasil, where Munir Hossn and Flo Reichle got to know each other as well as their common love for afro-brazilian music. When Hossn and Reichle were joined by bassist Toni Schiavano, known for his full sound and his dance-like playing, the trio Pedra Preta was born. Hossn, Reichle and Schiavano play with southern passion and a relaxing coolness at the same time, bringing together poetic moments and powerful grooves. No wonder their performances are exceptional and colourful experiences hard to forget.
