Jazz and everyday life share a relationship with one another that can't always be described as harmonious. But is this really such a surprise? The strains and demands on many jazz musicians often isolate them from a comprehension of the humble deeds and simple happenings of everyday people. Contrary to this trend, the young Cologne Bassist Oliver Lutz lends far more insight and awareness of our shared experience.
