The music on this cd is played by some of my very favorite people in Berlin! Over the years i've had the pleasure to make music with each of them - in various settings. On this recording all of them demonstrate their artistry, stylistic flexibility, and superb musicianship on a very high level, indeed! They do this by employing a fresh approach in creating lovely, original music - while respecting the jazz tradition. One of the major challenges in this form of improvised music is originality. All of the fine musicians on this production allow the listener an invitation into each individual's personal musical voice - and wonderful it is! Thanks to each of you for your superb contribution.
