The debut CD is always something very special for a young musician. The oboist Thomas Hecker, winner of the German Music Competition in 2008 and now solo oboist of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, ensures that his first GENUIN CD is also something extraordinary for the listener. Masterfully he juggles repertoire, skillfully combining the baroque and modern together, as well as the serious and the amusing.
