The album was released on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Agnieszka Kurowska’s artistic career — a longtime soloist and a beautifully shimmering star of the Warsaw Chamber Opera. Her soprano, beloved by opera fans, was reliable both in parts requiring coloratura lightness and those full of drama. The album’s content consists of archival recordings made during Warsaw Chamber Opera performances, as well as with the orchestra of the Grand Theatre in Poznan and the Polish Radio Orchestra.
