Mister Mohop and Large Shape was formed in April 2010. It is the fruit of four musicians who crossed paths during a CD production in autumn 2008. The band is based on essential music-reflections and natural spontaneity. The outstanding voice of Bruno Amstad is a powerful discovery. His astounding range of voice creates magic sounds. This quartet moves between fast tempos and floating sound atmospheres. All compositions are from Marcus Moser and André Hahne. Together they present a mature balance of structured and improvised material. The music contains subtle interaction and effortless virtuosity. After the first studio session, they present a live CD recorded in August 2010 (Studio du Flon, Lausanne)
