This is a unique album: A collection of French Arias of Early 19th Century New Orleans. New Orleans was one of the first cities in the U.S. to have a major operatic scene. The French influence in New Orleans was extremely strong, and hence had a major impact upon the arts there. New Orleans is noted from its 19th Century French Opera House.
