A black melody to yellow chords, red harmonies to the rhythms of brushwork. With his recent project, the baritone saxophonist Matthias Tschopp sets works of the Catalan painter Joan MiroÌEUR (1893-1983) to music. Modern art interpreted as jazz: inventive, original, colourful.MiroÌEUR's paintings are shown during the concert and their musical interpretation will be explained. Thus the audience gains a new approach to contemporary jazz - it may immerse into a world where colours, shapes, sounds and imagination melt into one.
