The new album with the music of the composer Matteo Tundo Terre Rare, with Pierpaolo Dinapoli on classical and electric guitar, is out for Stradivarius, created with the contribution of NUOVO IMAIE. Published in vinyl format, Terre Rare was born from the invitation of the guitarist Pierpaolo Dinapoli to Matteo Tundo to create a highly experimental repertoire that gathers the tradition of the classical guitar and the electric guitar and pushes beyond the limits of the current solo repertoire, giving rise to a fresh, innovative and undisputed communicative repertoire. A project that offers a singular musical journey into the dynamism of a profound and highly personal expressive world, opening up to surprising sound horizons. “In this record production - says Matteo Tundo - we have chosen to explore both short and more structured forms, in order to bend the writing to the different instrumental and listening needs. The project was born from the desire to create a dialogue between a “popular” instrument like the guitar and the most recent cultured influences of electronic music.” The album brings together four tracks, published by Edizioni Stradivarius, and includes an A-side dedicated to the classical guitar with the tracks Flysch and Clinker and a B-side dedicated to the electric guitar, with the tracks Grit and Insenature. A listening experience that allows a broad and eclectic creative world to emerge, a reflection of constant and in-depth personal research, with the performer aiming to capture the folds and all the expressive fullness of the scores.
