Magdalena Cynk Caprices Asteroids Bagatelles Kolaczyk Mrozek-Loska Jakubowski Maciaszczyk

Magdalena Cynk – a native of Torun, composer, carillonist, music theory teacher at the Music School Complex, animator of the musical movement in Torun and the region, organizer of numerous concerts, festivals and music competitions. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and completed postgraduate studies in the Management of Cultural Institutions at the Casimir the Great University in Bydgoszcz. She also studied carillon at the Academy of Music in Gdansk and at the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen, Belgium. At the Music School Complex in Torun, she created and conducts unique composition classes on a nationwide scale, where she has already educated several dozen composers known in Poland and around the world. She is the originator and soloist of the Tour de Carillon Festiva. She writes solo, chamber, orchestral and choral compositions, which are performed at many festivals and concerts in cities in the region, Poland and Europe, as well as in the United States and Brazil. The most important works in her work are vocal-instrumental compositions referring to the culture and history of Torun, such as the Raftsman’s Sinfonietta, the Incorporation Cantata in honor of the Torun homage of 1454.
