With their new CD particles & waves the trio Klanglabor delivers a musical statement covering the whole range of their artfully elaborated world of sounds. It is some sort of contemporary world music, including elements of jazz, ethno, neue musik, electronics and ambient. The seven tracks were recorded in a live-setting at the studio and are based on improvisations and short verbal agreements. Artful and subtle live loops, the main instruments voice, e-guitar and drums define the characteristic sound of the band, next to a wide range of exotic and prepared instruments, like egg- cutter, copper frying pan, egg-whisk, stones, pet-bottles, stylophone, hulusi, sansula etc.
