The excellent bass-baritone Janusz Lewandowski took an interest in the song repertoire of two outstanding Polish composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: Wladyslaw Zelenski and Mieczyslaw Karlowicz. He decided to present it in a completely different form than what singers normally do. He invited outstanding jazzmen to the project. These are Tomasz Licak and Radek Wosko, who not only arranged selected songs by the above-mentioned artists for jazz, but also participated in their recording. World-renowned singer Katarzyna Dondalska, who, like the other musicians involved in this project, works at the Academy of Music in Szczecin, has been invited to join the project. These four artists were complemented by two outstanding instrumentalists: Ilona Damiecka and Bartosz Swiatek. Let us hope that the combination of classical and jazz music will widen the circle of Zelenski and Karlowicz lovers.
