Listening to Juliane Rickenmann's compositions for the first time makes us think of an improvised and random speech. Nevertheless, a second listening opens totally new horizons. We discover that a particular logic guides the musicians. A rhythmical logic of course, a melodic logic too, but mainly a strong harmonic logic which is inherent in the musical flow, renders the structure or more accurately the spinal column. It follows that, through it's plastic and legitimacy, we get caught by the music which ends up winning over the listener. This is the primary singularity of Juliane Rickenmann's creative activity. She is definitely deeply inspired and very personal in her poetic thought process, in the true sense of the word.
