Simple but striking dramaturgy After "Voyage à l'Intérieur d'une Trompe" and "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde", "Flibuste - Filibuster" is the third big composition and play by the Lausanne-based trombone player Jean-François Bovard and his Compagnie d'Eustache. "Flibuste" is a conception which includes a big band, visual elements like costumes, decoration, lights and a simple but striking dramaturgy. The story is based on a little, pretty philosophical fairy-tale. The music illustrates, contrasts and comments the play which is directed by an off-voice defining characters, guiding the story and creating tension.
