Marek Jasinski and Jaromir Gajewski are leading composers linked to Szczecin. Their works are performed all around the globe – during numerous festivals, competitions and concerts. Marek Jasinski’s creative output is composed primarily of choir works and cantata / oratorios, whereas Jaromir Gajewski’s works are mostly instrumental (chamber as well as symphonic compositions). The project to record the piano works of both composers started a few years ago as they both had an immense impact on the development of contemporary music in Szczecin. This album features piano and saxophone works with difficulty adjusted to the performing abilities of talented youth.
