 The Podkarpacka Filharmonia Symphony Orchestra im. Artura Malawskiego in Rzeszów was established in 1955. At present it is one of the most dynamically growing symphony orchestras in Poland. Its high artistic status is confirmed by the fact that it had the possibility to cooperate with such outstanding conductors as: D. Giménez, C. Scaglione, J. Maksymiuk, K. Penderecki, J. Katlewicz, A. Wit, T. Wojciechowski, G. Chmura, A. Duczmal, T. Strugala, M. Pijarowski, L. Borowicz. Those performing with the Podkarpacka Filharmonia Symphony Orchestra included highly acclaimed artists from Poland and abroad, e.g.: J. Carreras, M. Barenboim, Soyoung Yoon, J. Malovany, K. A. Kulka, K. Jakowicz, P. Plawner, B. Niziol, T. Strahl, A. Bauer, L. Dlugosz, E. Indjic, S. Yoon, R. Lakatos, E. Kulibaev, Ph. Do,.
