The pianist born in Feldkirch, Austria in 1984 is one of the most impressive pianists in Germany and surprises with unusual compositions, spicy improvisation lines with frequent unexpected twists and unbelievable virtuosity. His trio is characterized by ensemble playing seldom experienced to this degree of perfection, thanks in part to the master classes that they attended together (among others, taught by Bobo Stenson, Peter Herbert, George Garzone and Ingrid Jensen. The bassist, Lucas Dietrich, who is also from the Vorarlberg region in Austria, is also familiar with classical music as well as jazz from master classes and workshops given by Renaud Garcia-Fons and Peter Herbert, among others. Marc Vogel, also from Austria, has also been involved in various styles during his studies and playing; he honed his skills in workshops given by Peter Erskine and Adam Nussbaum, among others.
