This first solo album confirms Floriano Inácio Junior's musical talent, which was already promisingly brought to light in previous group projects such as the Kaiapo trio. The pianist, who is from Brazil, is able to develop compositions that create a special fusion between Brazilian Jazz and different traditional Brazilian rhythms. An energizing freshness comes shining through his music, inspired by diverse influences such as the samba and other traditional rhythms. A piano line sometimes recalling the sound of cavaquinho (a small Brazilian Guitar). And more importantly we hear an amazing, natural and almost intuitive sense of melody.
