After two years of consistently appearing on stage, the Federico Monetta Quartet finally releases its debut "Walking in my soul" whereon the four musicians are taking us on a musical journey into the bandleader and pianist Federico Monetta's soul. Monetta's compositions merge mediterranean vibes with ethnic sounds and jazz, always motorized by brazilian- and balcanic rhythms. This rhythm-section consisting of Giacomo Reggiani on drums and Luca Curcio on bass pushes saxophonist Manuel Pramotton to expressive eruptions as its best, while Monetta's piano is glueing it all together yet opening up the sound to the maximum.
