The album features virtuoso pieces for chamber string orchestra with the participation of two soloists. Bartosz Glowacki is a young, outstanding accordionist who, among others, represented Poland during the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest and who is also known to audiences of prestigious concert halls around the world. In the compositions by Richard Galliano and Józef Swider, he presents the extraordinary qualities of his performance, including both technical proficiency and sensitivity to the beauty of sound. Violinist Gabriela Grabon is a prizewinner of solo and chamber music competitions with a wide range of expression, associated with ensembles in Poland and Switzerland. The orchestra, composed of excellent musicians of the young and middle generation, under the baton of its founder, is an equal partner for both soloists in this demanding repertoire. Rich harmonies, various eclectic references to the oeuvre of, e.g. Astor Piazzolla, contrasts, dance rhythms, saturated sounds – all these elements make up an energetic music, keeping the listener on the edge of their seats to the very last note.
