Although instrumental, the music on Descending is heavily inspired by movies from the 70s/early 80s and addresses themes of nostalgia, grief, identity, hauntology, psychedelics, the occult and supernatural. The album has been recorded over a ten year stretch and will be released with an accompanying visual album reconfiguring existing footage into new narratives.
