Without pointless sheet music, without ear-ripping high notes, without a furious sweeping down the pentatonic, rather, self-composed pieces, peaceful, melodious yet still intensive and thoughtfully interpreted, and soloistically tasteful. Always a little reminiscent of GRP CDs. As previously, Wildi has put together a highly empathetic quintet. Consistently fine solos, superb accompaniment and unfluctuatingly reflected interplay.
