The NYC/Berlin-based Trio plays new arrangements of Songs by David Bowie, Sixto Rodriguez and Lackner. The music is a combination of hard grooving beats, slow, atmospheric sounds and modern jazz. The balance of composed music andimprovisation holds a deep respect for the tradition of jazz while bringing out contemporary elements of modern music inspiredby Radiohead as well as harmonic language inspired by composers such as Brahms and Chopin and Keith Jarrett.Concerts include four exstensive Asia - Australia - New Zealand tours taking them to places such as Sydney, Melbourne,Hong Kong and Jakarta. The trio has headlined at jazz clubs such as the Blue Note in NYC, Joe's Pub in NYC, Smalls in NYC,Birdland in Vienna and the A-Trane in Berlin, sharing the stage with John Scofield at the Traumzeit Jazz Festival, theAmerican Jazz Festival in Paris, as well as a concerts at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Monterey Jazz Festival, Viersen Jazz Festival, Leverkusener Jazztage, the Augsburger Jazzsommer and the DüsseldorferJazz Rallye!
