This new Quartet is formed by the following instruments: trumpet, doublebass (and e-bass), Hammond (and synths) and turntables. Almost all of the compositions of this Quartet are written by Hilaria Kramer. You can hear Free Jazz fragments and deep Acid Grooves in the music of BBB (like some influences of Ornette Coleman or Miles Davis) as well as some influences of new music and poetry from Willam Burroughs and Laurie Anderson. A radical difference to her precedent bands is the presence of the DJ turntables instead of the drums. DJ Mattia Loetscher launches loops and sound-effects trough the whole repertory while Ivan Lombardi, most important bassplayer of the south side of Switzerland, completes the rhythm section with his highly melodic and groovy approach. Antonio Masoni's hot Hammond playing ( except "Lonely woman" playing Renaud Millet Lacombe) and synth-colouring give the compositions and arrangements the final touch. 7 compositions on the CD are written by Hilaria Kramer and 2 compositions, "Lonely Woman" and "Broadway Blues" are from the famous american saxophone player Ornrette Coleman. On the CD there are two guest musicians:On "Lonely woman" you can listen to Renaud Millet Lacombe, soloing on his Hammond B3, and on "Forse si forse no" the swiss guitarplayer Marco Cortesi's guitar solo.
