Two rare recordings hard to fi nd of the great Russian conductor. Of great prominence the CD devoted to Glinka, with all those works of the Russian tradition, all gathered together. Not less important, in the second CD, thebleak and grandiose vision of Rimsky-Korsakov’s masterworks, placed by Svetlanov in an impressive symphonic structure, typical of his country’s school.
