With "Brass Heralds" German Brass presents another album full of works of Johann Sebastian Bach. And to top this, they put one cd with the repertoire of Bach and one another cd with works of his contemporaries: Georg Friedrich Händel, Georg Philipp Telemann, John Baston und Jean Philippe Rameau. With this production the ensemble continues the album of "Bach on Brass" which was nominated for the German ECHO Klassik in 2016. What makes the ensemble special? With their virtuosity, their brilliant musicality and their own charm, they have decisively influenced the brass culture. Their arrangements are regarded as showpieces, and the ensemble members are the best in their class: 10 university professors and soloists of well-known orchestras in Germany. The fact that German Brass not only reaches Baroque fans and classical music fans gets revealed by their performance at the ECHO Klassik 2016. They entertain the entire audience in a relaxed, youthful and fresh way. German Brass regularly gets on tour! Until Christmas, there are almost 10 concerts, including the Berliner Philharmonie (1,200 spectators) and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (over 2,000 spectators). The ensemble is also comparatively strong in the social media: with more than 13,000 followers, they have a four times higher reach than Felix Klieser on Facebook! With this album, we are releasing a new album which can well sold through Christmas season, but also through the whole year!
