Considéré très justement comme l’un des meilleurs guitaristes classique italiens, Stefano Grondona sa consacre entièrement dans son nouvel opus aux « Transcriptions Romantiques pour guitare » de Miguel Llobet. Les notes qui accompagnent cet enregistrement apportent quelques précisions : « Tous les arrangements de Miguel Llobet sont de vraies chansons romantiques sans paroles. Une musique évocatrice, chargée d’images et d’émotions, une musique qui accompagne. Des chansons sans paroles mais avec une signification bien plus profonde qui s’esquisse dans la gestuelle de la guitare ».

A new album by Stefano Grondona, considered one of the best Italian guitarist, entirely devoted to the Romantic Transcriptions for guitar by Miguel Llobet. From the Liner Notes: "All the arrangements for guitar Miguel Llobet (1878-1938) are quite romantic 'songs without words'. They are all music that, extracted from its original context, is transformed into the dense formal wholeness of 'leaf of an album', of the concentrated draft: in any case, complete emotional pictures, which accompany, recall, evoke, reduce to something within ourselves which is only revealed in their perception. Songs without real words, but with a still deeper significance of gesture which is pronounced in the guitar and, transcending every formal limit, is able to accede directly to the reaching of the 'significant'".
