The anniversary of Ireneusz Lukaszewski coincides in time with the 40th anniversary of one of the most outstanding Polish vocal ensembles – Polish Chamber Choir. This is a great opportunity for realisation of an anniversary recording composed of works created for this choir by its founder and first conductor. Time and circumstances of the choral works by Ireneusz Lukaszewski presented on the CD, maintained in religious character, reveal the inspiration and creative themes of the composer. Lukaszewski’s cooperation with the choir also produced a great number of music arrangements. The anniversary album displays the most recent ones – created with the 100th anniversary of Independence in mind, arrangements of songs by Paderewski and Chopin.
