Welcome DogOn! La fusée Groove-Jazz flambant neuve d’Eric Hunziker explose dans la scène musicale suisse. Le trio navigue avec savoir-faire dans les sphères du jazz, du funk et de l’« Open Space » et dirige son vaisseau spatial de manière souveraine à travers des pluies de météorites délicatement improvisées et des mystérieux brouillards sonores. On s’envole avec des sons planants pour mieux atterrir avec des Dub terreux. En sondant les compositions de Hunziker, le groupe a intégré des Grooves et des impressions apparus spontanément jusqu’à ce que son répertoire soit au point pour enthousiasmer le public des clubs suisses. En ce moment, DogOn prépare son premier CD qui sortira le 13 janvier 2017. Après cela, le vaisseau DogOn fera halte à plusieurs endroits en Allemagne. Ces dernières années, Eric Hunziker s’est fait un nom aussi bien en tant que Sideman pour divers artistes suisses (Peter’s Playstation, Lobith) qu’avec ses propres projets (Neuromodulator, Swiss Indian Orchestra). Avec Thomas Tavano (E-Bass) et Tobias Hunziker (Drums), il a pris à bord pour l’accompagner un duo Rhythm-Section qui a fait ses preuves.

Hello DogOn! Eric Hunziker launches his brand new groove-jazz-spaceship; his trio navigating the spheres of jazz, funk and «open space». Rock-meteor showers alternate with delicately improvised stardust-molecules, mysterious sound-nebulae swirl above funky grooves and the landing evokes sprinkles of earthy dub. Exploring the depth of Hunzikers compostions, the trio incorporated spontaneously evolving grooves – until the repertoire was ready to enthuse the swiss jazz-club crowd. Currently, DogOn’s astronauts are hard at work recording and mastering their first CD. After it’s release in January 2017, the DogOn space ship will land in Germany. Eric Hunziker has made a name for himself both as an in-demand sideman with countless Swiss acts (Peter’s Playstation, Lobith, Fearless Five amongst others) and as the instigator of his own various projects (Neuromodulator, Swiss Indian Orchestra), Thomas Tavano (b) and Tobias Hunziker (dr.) are sought after musicians of the swiss music scene as well.
