Artur Cimirro – composer and vituoso pianist, Artur Cimirro, has performed extensively across the globe, and the focus of his virtuoso performances range from Liszt’s paraphrases to Sorabji’s Sonatas. His repertoire also consists of works from the barroque Dietrich Buxtehude to living composers like Allan Crossman, Samuel Peruzollo Vieira, amongst many others. Throughout his studies Artur Cimirro developed an interpretative technique, which is called “Scientific Interpretation System” – where the work is analyzed by taking into consideration the historical factors that involved the composer and work in question; and with a faithful reading of the score in this compositional context (contrapuntal / harmonic / analytic). This method has now been published as “Scientific Interpretation System or Musical Hermeneutics”. Winner of several awards. Artur Cimirro is also a brilliant composer and arranger, and he has composed and transcribed a considerable number of works. A complete list of his works is available in his webpage (see below). Cimirro is executive editor of the digital Music Magazine Opus Dissonus where he works also as art critic.
