We've met them in the shiny dress of the 80ies,made immortal by artists such as Cindy Lauper, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Diana Ross. Andreas Michels and his NufidelityCollective now interpret them in a new way - more intimate and playful. The singers and musicians show themselves from avery personal angle.The tunes are gentle, yet distinctevly groovy. They remain accessible and emotional. Andreas Michel has developed a newstyle of harmonisation - colorful and atmospheric and staying true to the song. Every arrangement is thougt-out to the finalnote. Original compositions compliment the repertoire and spin forth the thread.Andreas Michel is pianist of the legendary group Grandmother's Funck (GMF) and has been active on the music scene inmany ways: His compositions have been performed at the Opera House Zürich, his songwriting is part of the daily program ofSwiss radio stations and as a pianist he has played at the Montreux Jazzfestival, many big Openairs and music clubs allaround Europe. The members of Nufidelity Collective are his favorite musical companions.
